Does a wave of exhilaration run through your nerves when you hear the word 'surfing'? Also a nature lover and an enthusiast of history? This time, I am going to elaborate my experience during my recent visit to Baler in the Philippines. Baler is the place which fits perfectly into the above criteria of surfing, nature lover and history. Known as the best surfing destination in the Philippines, it is the capital of the Aurora province and a 6 hour bus journey from Manila.  Our relocation to the Philippines has been a year and it becomes obvious for exploring the new country by some planned visits to its adjoining provinces/towns. ' Mumbai' pops up when most of the Indians think of, 'The city of dreams'. For me, it was not. My birth and phase of adolescence being in 'The Indian City of Joy', Kolkata (more precisely Northern part of Kolkata) I was very reluctant to even think of moving out of the city.  Why reluctant? A desire was held within me for a long time to be amidst the aquatic life under the dark blue sea. In fact, dreams frequently visited me since my adolescence to have a macro view of the wonderland under the sea.I could not make it possible in my home country but had the determination to transform my dream into reality in some foreign country. 'All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.' The above line is so true. Wondering how? Here comes the answer.
